Esteban N. Mercado, LMSW
Mental Health Therapist
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker, and I provide therapy with compassion, insight, and a strong commitment to culturally responsive care.
I completed a year-long internship at Smilow Cancer Center in Guilford, where I supported patients through emotionally and medically complex experiences. I am fluent in Spanish and am especially committed to serving underserved communities, including the Latino population.
I work with individuals who may be navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, substance use concerns, emotional stress, medical challenges, relationship difficulties, or major life transitions. I also support clients who want therapy to feel culturally respectful, collaborative, and attentive to the values and experiences that shape their lives.
Reaching out for support can take courage. My goal is to offer a safe, respectful space where clients can feel understood, build resilience, and move forward with greater confidence.
