Jayla Berry, LMSW
Psychotherapist
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker who believes that therapy begins with creating a space where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, substance use and recovery concerns, and life transitions. I understand that beginning therapy can sometimes feel uncomfortable or uncertain, particularly for individuals who may have been managing difficult emotions or circumstances on their own for some time. My goal is to help clients feel at ease while providing thoughtful support as they begin working through the concerns that brought them to therapy.
Throughout my clinical experience, I have learned that each person brings a different history, perspective, and set of needs to the therapeutic process. I take time to understand what each client is experiencing and work collaboratively to help them develop greater self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and identify meaningful steps toward change.
My approach is genuine, supportive, and individualized. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where clients feel comfortable being themselves while exploring difficult experiences, recognizing their strengths, and working toward greater emotional well-being.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy watching movies and television shows, trying new foods, and traveling.
