Tezeta G. Mammo, LCSW
Mental Health Therapist
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 19 years of experience supporting children and families across outpatient and school-based settings. I provide therapy with warmth, clinical depth, and a thoughtful understanding of the many factors that shape a child’s emotional and behavioral well-being.
My work is grounded in the belief that meaningful treatment begins with understanding the whole child within the context of family, development, environment, and culture. I firmly believe that children make meaningful progress when therapy supports both the child and the family system around them. Together, we work toward greater emotional stability, stronger relationships, and more confidence in daily life.
Born and raised outside of the United States, I bring a deep appreciation for culture, family, and the many ways people create meaning in their lives.
Focus Areas
Anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment-related concerns, self-esteem challenges, behavioral difficulties, and culturally responsive child and family therapy.
Approach
My approach is practical, warm, and family-centered. I help children build emotional regulation, coping skills, confidence, and healthier ways to express their needs. I also work with caregivers to better understand their child’s behavior, strengthen connection, and develop strategies that can be used outside of the therapy room.
